The child in question has died a couple of days back. This is tragic because the elderly man apparently took her inside and raped her before setting her on fire. The man is on run now. I hope he is caught soon, tried and executed ASAP.

Unfortunately the child is dead now. Not surprising given the social setup of a few communities are. This is an outrageous crime and must be treated under the rarest of the rare category to punish the culprit with the maximum sentence - death by hanging.
